About AM Sofa Studio
Lahore's custom sofa workshop, built around one promise: honest joinery.
We are a small team of craftsmen working out of a Lahore workshop, making sofas, deewans, chairs and beds to order. Every frame is cut from seasoned kikkar (Acacia nilotica) wood, every cushion is built on Mastermolty high-density foam, and every piece is delivered free across every Lahore neighborhood.
How AM Sofa Studio started
AM Sofa Studio was founded in 2020 in Lahore as a direct response to a frustration every Pakistani drawing-room owner shares: the gap between what a sofa looks like in the showroom and what actually arrives at the door. We started with a workshop, four craftsmen, and a single rule — show the customer the wood, the foam and the joinery before we cut a metre of fabric.
Five years later we still operate the same way. Every order is built to spec in our Lahore workshop. Nothing is imported flat-pack, nothing is white-labelled, and every frame has a structure warranty backed by the workshop that built it.
What we actually make
Our active catalogue covers five product families. Each is available in a fixed list of standard sizes and in fully custom dimensions:
- Sofas — 3+2+1 sets, L-shape sectionals, chesterfields, loveseats, Lawson and tuxedo styles.
- Deewans — Heritage, Modern and Executive variants, plus our Luxe Ottoman Deewan with hidden storage.
- Accent & wingback chairs — channel-back, tub, club, wingback and lounge chair pairs.
- Beds — king, queen, single, with upholstered headboards in fabric or leatherette.
- Ottomans & footstools — round, rectangular, storage and pair-of-mooda variants.
The materials, in plain terms
Frame. Seasoned kikkar wood, kiln-dried to under 12% moisture so it doesn't warp in Lahore humidity or Karachi sea air. Pine and MDF cost less but split at the joint after two summers — we don't use either.
Cushion. Mastermolty high-density foam (28-32 kg/m³ for seats, 22 kg/m³ for backs). Cheap foam compresses to a third of its thickness within a year. Ours is rated for eight.
Fabric. We work with Faisalabad mills for woven upholstery and source Italian leatherette for high-traffic families. Every fabric we sell has a Martindale rub-count above 25,000 — household-furniture standard.
Joinery. Mortise-and-tenon corners with corner-block reinforcement. Screws, nails and staples are used for trim only, never as the load-bearing joint.
Who we serve
AM Sofa Studio delivers across every Lahore neighborhood — free door delivery, no minimum, our own van. The most-served neighborhoods are DHA Lahore, Bahria Town Lahore, Gulberg, Johar Town, Model Town and Faisal Town. We currently only deliver within Lahore — no nationwide shipping.
How to commission a piece
The fastest path is WhatsApp at +92 323 0180873. Send a photo of the room or a reference sofa, the dimensions you have to work with, and the budget you're comfortable with. We'll come back with three buildable options inside an hour during workshop hours (Monday–Saturday, 10am–8pm PKT).
